What is Yoga?

 Yoga is an ancient practice that helps keep the mind and body healthy. It includes physical exercises, 

breathing techniques, and meditation. Here’s a simple explanation in both English and Hindi:

1. Union of Mind & Body (र्न और िरीर का र्ेल) – Yoga connects the body, mind, and soul 

for overall well-being.

Example: Doing yoga daily helps in mental peace and physical health.

2. Physical Exercises (िारीररक अभ्यास) – Different yoga poses (asanas) improve flexibility and 

strength.

Example: Surya Namaskar, Padmasana, and Bhujangasana.

3. Breathing Techniques (श्वसन िकनीकें ) – Helps control breath to calm the mind and improve 

lung health.

Example: Pranayama (deep breathing exercises).

4. Meditation & Relaxation (ध्यान और ववश्रार्) – Increases focus, reduces stress, and brings 

inner peace.
